No Rap, the 1911 and all the other high quality auto's do not use simple blowback, the operations works by blowback but only when the gas pressure is at a safe level, that is they are pressure sensitive. A saturday night special does not compensate for pressure release and is blowback in the simplest and most unreliable form.
