I knew Steve from many years ago when he sang regularly at our folk club near Witney and I was a teenager who was just starting to appreciate traditional song but was more used to contemporary stuff. I caught up with him at Sidmouth this year and just blown away by his set which covered traditional and some contemporary material. Steve's singing was fabulous and with quiet confidence he showed how to really deliver a song to an audience. Bought the latest CD and thoroughly recommend it. If you have a chance to see one of his gigs make the effort, he is worth travelling for. Anyone else seen Steve recently?
