Think of Lt Calley whose men slaughtered around 400 civilians...men, women and children in My Lai ,Vietnam in1968.
He served around a year in house arrest before being released.
What a disgrace that of all the crimes committed by the US military and their civilian overlords someone whose 'crime' was to reveal the awful truth about war crimes gets 35 years in prison.
