The N.E. ballroom is a delightful venue, very Jane Austen and Nigel on sound was as ever, a faultless man to work with. Maybe the lighting could use some extra frills and touches but all in all, it's quite majestic. Some exciting performers and the New Penguin English Folk Songs presentation orchestrated by Brian Peters was exemplary - Bella Hardy just gets better and better.
Don't you meet some lovely people too at Fylde?
