Are short internet videos, like on youtube, becoming the new broadsides? They are an inexpensive way to widely disseminate new songs quickly. Does anyone know if there has been any scholarly research done on this topic, namely, the relationship between the internet and music transmission, and, if so, how I could get my hands on it?
