even if there is a hell of a lot of coloured water sitting around, and nobody behind the 'bar'. That YouTube link is to one of the programmes in the first series, where they had that poor lass who was introducing the acts whilst pretending to pour a drink, or wipe a table, or otherwise maintain the clunky conceit that she was the barstaff in this pub that all these fabulous musicians just happen to have tipped up into. Thankfully they ditched that presentation idea after the first series. The music is indeed fabulous though, quite a few of the continental European acts booked for Celtic Connections tend to turn up on this programme alongside some really good (and some bloody awful, but your 'bloody awful' is probably my 'really good' and vice versa) 'Celtic' acts. Well worth favouriting on the iPlayer. Haven't watched this week's yet, but pleased to hear Simon Thoumire's on again (and BTW his bi-monthly FootStompin.com podacst, the 'Ayepod', is also well worth a regular listen).
