""I know one shouldn't, but I have a little book in the study just for all the passwords needed for dozens of different sites.""

I too use a book Eliza, which is an archive of all the songs I have converted to digital format from folk LPs I have collected over fifty years.

I use the Initial letters of the most obscure song titles with words like "and", "the", "or", in lower case and the others in capitals. I add the running time of the particular recording at the end to strengthen the PW.

The beauty of it is the fact that all anybody sees is a list of three figure numbers which identify the position of the specific song in the archive, meaning that anyone who doesn't know the connection has no chance of guessing. Nobody but my wife and me is privy to the location of the song archive.

I can actually remember all of the passwords most of the time, but when I forget, it takes about two minutes to find one.
