GUEST,Gavin Atkin This Sunday at Frittenden (1) This Sunday at Frittenden 23 Oct 13

The Frittenden sessions at the Bell & Jorrocks are proud to present our featured visitors The Stings on the 27th October.

A lively bunch of singers and musos with a particularly nice line in harmonies, Alan Marshall's crunching guitar, Steve Taylor's fiddle and melodeon, all laced with with Gerry Smith's outstanding wind and reeds work, The Stings have a new CD coming out…

These cracking sessions take place on the last Sunday (usually) in the month from September to April, from 8pm. The Bell & Jorrocks (TN17 2EJ).

An entertaining old fashioned and traditional pub evening with songs and tunes, and plenty of variety and good humour. If you've got a song, a tune, a stepdance or story, enjoy joining in with a chorus or just like listening in the bar, please come along. We go on until it's time to close with Nellie Dean the old way – just as people used to before the telly and the computer.

And don't forget the free twice monthly traditional music classes - we have one tonight at Horsmonden. If you can play a little and need to gain the confidence to join sessions and even play for dancing, this is for you. Go to Singdanceandplay.net and check out the class page for details.
