Jacqui and Kendall are the only people I know who watch TV regularly. 60 Minutes is sacred time at the Morse household. Jacqui records what she wants and watches it when she can. I got rid of cable TV years ago and Netflix because I just wasn't using them. Did the same with my unlimited phone plan - I was paying almost $100/ month and averaging nine minutes of phone time. I don't know anyone who watches TV all the time. When I visited family this year in both NYC and Buffalo no one watched TV at all. The children watched Thomas the Train and that was it. Even the guys at work watch only sports and occasional zombi shows. I watch two shows every week when I can - The Cafe on PBS, a gentle comedy about people living in a seaside town in England. Quirky characters draw you in to their lives. And my other must watch is The Closer. I love how she hides her brilliant mind behind the white trashy exterior. "Thank Yewwwww. LOl Facebook served its purpose for me during a family crisis. Playing games on line distracted my young cousin during a particularly rough patch. While in the hospital, her computer kept her in touch. Spaw and I connected over Scrabble. And yes he does beat me most of the time. Others rarely do which makes his games all the more fun. The politics, both right and left wing, I find sad. Seems to me a replay of the nastiness in Washington. Somewhere there has to be some common ground. Obama isn't Satan and Boehner isn't pure evil. ah well. Back to my laundry and house work. Happy Saturday!
