Jack, don 't judge the song site by one song. I agree with you and it's not my type of song, rather dated and juvenile but another song with Liberty it it's title is Peace and Liberty by Robert Burns also dated but what's wrong with the sentiment expressed? Don't give hostage to fortune which allow all sorts of eedjits to post. I remember when Braveheart came out, almost every English acquaintance I had were 13/14th century Scottish History experts. Now they are all experts in Scottish economics.
