Been to Mexico a couple of times ... spent this past month of February on a photo trip searching out ancient abandoned sites out and around of San Miguel,Guanajuato (one of the most beautiful cities I've been to) and Mexico City, an amazing metropolis .... never felt unsafe at all and sometimes we where out in the middle of nowhere. It can be concerning and dangerous for gringos travelling up along the border areas to the U.S. You would certainly be more safe in the resort areas such as Cancun than you would be in Orlando FLa.. Mexico ... extraordinary culture, wonderful people, wonderful food. biLL
