Allison, so good to hear from you. A really uplifting post that brings a ray of sunshine to some rather gloomy days.

Wendy, our day by the sea looks increasingly destined for 2014. We're determined to make it to Frinton (Many happy childhood memories of Frinton, Clacton & Walton-on-the Naze). Family commitments at present are complex & very fluid, meaning that putting something in the diary that's actually going to stay PUT is next to impossible!

Gnu, the imagery invoked by your earlier post lingers in my mind. Your writing draws me in. I could be sitting in a chair opposite you, smelling & tasting the food (scoff, a word I haven't heard used for many a long year).
