North east corner is probably the coldest part of the house, so any condensation that's going to form is going to form there. Keeping the door slightly open so that the cupboard is the same temperature as the room would probably help. Or a small cupboard heater, say 25-50 watts, if you can afford to run it, but combined with ventilation.
