My father had both knees done at the same time when he was in his eighties. He amazed the doctors - out of the hospital in four days and out of rehab in another four.
I suspect the pain in no way matched what he was experiencing pre-surgery. Made his life so much better.
I see it my future hopefully not for a few more years.
