An interesting broadcast. It was very heartening to be told that some of the more commercial performers like Bellowhead were getting on to the R2 playlist. No doubt the purists here will complain but new people aren't attracted into the scene because of an sudden overpowering desire to go to a singaround, they are attracted because of high quality performances on the national media. Hopefully they will then try a folk club or festival and go on from there.
