Thanks for the clips gnu......Apostrophe in my opinion is the finest album Zappa ever made and deserves a special place in some music hall of fame. It uses roots of jazz, blues, rock, and even trad, to create a collection of work unequalled anywhere else. Then add in the musicality of the band and the arrangements. It is beyond all doubt the tightest of any rock style album ever and Frank goes on to use odd instrumentation and electronics to outstanding effect.

You can enjoy the whole thing just for the listening or then break it down and take it apart and lose your mind in amazement at the talents of Frank Zappa and the sheer "on it" tightness of the band. Then throw in some very memorable lyrics and phrases............many have entered mine and others lexicon.

If I see some ripoff of a more expensive object I ask, "Is that a real poncho or is that a Sears poncho?"

I get soap in my eyes in the shower and I sing loudly, "I can't see....(BWA_DA WABA BWOP DAH BADOP BWADOP)....I can't see ....(BWA_DA WABA BWOP DAH BADOP BWADOP)....

And probably 30 others all from this album. I love Frank and there are other good albums like Weasels Ripped My Flesh but none touches Apostrophe.

Okay.....enough of that! Many UPS to all and how about some warmer and happy days extending to this crew as Spring comes to Jane's Rainbow! Love to you all!!!
