Summer's 1972 recordings in the ship feature multiple versions of the black velvet band, the wild colonial boy,and the nutting girl. There are also multiple versions of the song referred to as slap-dab (The Amateur Whitewasher). I fear that neither the songs nor the singing would have persuaded me to stay for a second pint. john
