I missed the glaringly obvious.... had the author made him(her)self known; undoubtedly no different to today they would have been butchered by the powers that be for speaking out , one way or another... so it it entirely sensible to share their song & name withheld :) Shame they couldn't have stuck a note in a time capsule Further thoughts to the above, i realise in hindsight that both conscription and recruitment could be concurrent or subsequent actions to each other. Well oversights aplenty when u type quicker than u think
