Ha! I REread "King of the Wind" just last year. I think it held up well. All of the Marguerite Henry books, for that matter, hold up well. And those lovely illustrations by Wesley Dennis... I wonder what ever happened to my collection of ceramic horses... I had a great gawky pearlized strawberry roan. Seems I always knew the colors of horses. But I've noticed they've been breeding some different colors and colors and points in the past few decades. I'm one of the few people I know who knows the difference between a tobiano and an overo pinto... Haven't ridden since around 1971, but at least I have a lot of equestrian friends who either ride or drive. (Now THAT'S something I'd like to learn!) Linn
