My personal experience is based on men who are married and men who are in committed relationships, because frankly, that's all I know. I'm sure I've known promiscuous gay men, but they didn't talk about it. Luckily for the world these days, men in love with specific other men aren't as inhibited in talking about it once they realize the person they're talking to is willing to listen.
