The damned yellow warbler alarm-clock bird is back (heard but not seen). There are a pair of phoebes in a pre-owned nest above a window, and... a whole entire pair of rose-breasted grosbeaks. I was watching the female in the birdfeeder from the porch, which is only about 015' away. She was in there until a catbird flew in and scared her off.
