We all are looking for audiences! Folk clubs are an endangered Bpecies albeit that many folk club singers are at Beverley festival whichhas always to my knowledge had booked guest and folk clubs and singarounds ~ I believe that I and John Booker ran the singaround in the Sun/Tap for nigh on 10 years and Jim McDonald, Les and Maggie and Mick McGarry and Beverley folk club residents have all contributed over the years and Derek Waudby recently!

The booked guests need a paying audience, and not all "punters" are singers/musicians etc and need to be entertained professionally (that is to a good standard) and so "flavour of the month" and up and comers as well as established acts are all "booked" (my opinion of course) hope Beverley folk fest has something for everyone!
