Just on the topic of why songs about the local situation are needed perhaps more urgently than ever now because of Tony Rabbit and Co. On the front page of the national Murdoch paper there is an article reporting on how the govt (sic!) is opening the way for more foreign workers: chefs bricklayers and tilers. Its not as if we don't have any unemployed people looking for trades type work but no we have to reduce the jobs available to locals by letting in more imports so we can go on blaming the locals for being work shy and welfare dependent and then have an excuse to reduce social welfare supports even more!
