Boxing Day morning, and we will be off to Farnsfield, just outside Mansfield, to the lunchtime session in the Red lion. This used to be the Mansfield Morris Christmas dance-out, first performance of the Mansfield Plough Play and last performance of the "Owd 'Oss", until they folded, but the session continues with Larry, Milky Keith, Murph, Tony, Jack and all the old crew. Last year the "Owd 'Oss" was performed again. Let's hope they do it again. Milky Keith's tooth extraction on a member of the audience always makes the eyes water!

After that it will be a visit to our old friends nearby, Godparents of two of our offspring, for food and games. Guess who will be driving home, seeing as I hardly drink (more's the pity!)
