http://mudcat.org/thread.cfm?threadid=35631 Some may remember the thread last posted in Marxh 2004 about a very tragic song that dealt with how we use other folk, races, religions or whatever, as scapegoats... It's "always them" and never us. Gerry Conlon died today :( http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-27957509 The song is as poignant today as when it was written May his legacy be the good grace and forgiveness he shown in a life that must have pained him deeply. Sixty is no age to die when 15 years were robbed off him through no fault of his own and being born where he was. No-one deserves to be blamed and fitted up for something they never did. May he rest in peace and now have the freedom to roam where he wishes :)
