This is wonderful, Art and Chris, and thanks for putting it up. When I lived in Chicago in the 1970s and '80s, the local "folk" music was mostly rootless singer-songwriters. I remember stumbling upon Art and hearing the real stuff: the ballads and traditional songs, all delivered with jokes and puns of the most groan-inducing variety. A few years ago, through his brother Richard, I got to know Art a little via email and music he generously sent me on CDs through the mail. What an honor and delight that was. Good to know he's still making his mark.
