After reading a discussion elsewhere about the Commonwealth Games I wonder if the time for National anthems is past. I think "jingoistic" should be added - the time for jingoistic National Anthems is certainly past. Any anthem that proclaims superiority over other nations is a driver of conflict. We don't need to start from scratch in Wales - we have a good anthem, diolch yn fawr! Phil
