Yes, it's much better than when he was on the BBC. Although, paradoxically perhaps, I do prefer Mark Radcliffe's BBC show to his. Personally, I think the best folk UK folk show is BBC Merseyside's Folkscene. They have Emily Portman presenting it once a fortnight, and the music she plays is closest to my taste (she keeps the middle-of-the-road fluff to a minimum and plays people like Mary Hampton and Alasdair Roberts and Cath & Phil Tyler). When Portman's not presenting, they have Stan Ambrose, who presents 'at at distance',as it were, generally inviting guests to share their musical experiences.
