Saw some sensational performances, and, I know it's sort of wrong to individualise, however I'll try to tell you about what I saw .....
Apart from the great performers we expect to do the biz (and they did ), the Young 'uns were excellent, as was Roy Bailey.
Amy's singing (hope I've spelt her name correctly), and Shona's fiddle playing in Real Time plus the lads were tremendous, but of the performers I hadn't seen or heard of before ,who blew me away was the guitar-pLaying of Brian Willoughby as he accompanied the talented Catherine Craig. Guitar players amongst you have got to give this guy a listen.
Great Weekend - shit weather on Sunday (but anyone in Britain could have said THAT ) at least we were all in good venues / buildings and as some Dutch People said to me on Sunday - 20 €uros (15 quid) for a 6 hour Concert of this quality of performer(s)is fantastic - and it was.
Great time...
