It is arrogance like yours that emptied the clubs... I don't really think so Jim. Folk music has always been pretty much a minority activity. And the fashion comes and goes. People of one generation like this and another like that. What we loved in our youth becomes an old farts activity later. When I started Square dancing in the Fifties we were all young people, now if you go to a Square Dance they are all old people like me. There are many reasons I stopped square dancing, mainly, they didn't keep up with the times socially. I haven't been to the nearest folk club here, I met a few of the people and they seemed to be a bunch of old fuddy duddies. Perhaps I really belong among them and just don't want to admit it.
