Ah Pete Rowley, I remember going for a weekend 'on spec' & kindly being offered floorspace in someones gaff for a couple of nights. Pete was one of the residents & upon arrival & inspecting the loo declared that it was not up to standard as it didn't have " a straining post or heaving strap". I soon realised I was in for a jolly weekend. Pete was, for a time, musician for the Southport Swords, & we still play his particular version of the 'Keel Row' Cheers Les
