My first cat was a big longhaired male, a descendant of a Maine coon. He weighed over 30 pounds. We also had, for a while, a belgian hare. We fenced off part of the yard, so the rabbit could be outside in good weather, but bunnies are escape artists, so he'd try and sometines succeed in escaping. Unless we put the big cat out there with him. Then he'd stay. He just wanted company.
