Bah Humbug! When I was a girl, the store Christmas decorations didn't come out or get turned on, nor did Christmas carols start playing on the radio until the day after Thanksgiving. Nor did marketing for Halloween start the last week of August. My local grocery chain already has candied corn & pumpkin-shaped candies on display by every check-out line.
