We go back almost 50 years .
A King-pin in world of folk music in ths part of the world along with Graeme Miles the Fettlers ,Vin , Wilsons and countless writers and performers and many many others.
Some have already said how he was supportive of their music - he loved all music when honestly presented and performed. A great whistle and flute player , fine songwriter and singer. His encouragement was to all - alike - and was an inspiration as was his love and energy for Folk music performance, projects and his Folk Club.
A very lovely kind man shall be sorely missed.
