"Pop = popular - the form in which it lasts varies from - how many months - years? - the individual songs - blink-of-an-eye and they're gone" not when the pop song is a folk song that has become a folk song, for example.. all around my hat, the fact that all around my hat has been popularised does not mean that it will disappear within a blink of an eye., the truth is the fact it has been popularised is going to mean the opposite that more people will have heard it and therefore it will be remembered by more people.
