granted, Darwin done some scientific work in artificial and natural selection. but the extrapolating beyond this was his idea, not his unassailable truth. he, himself, acknowledged that his idea was open to other interpretation. I assume the same is true of Wallace, though I seem to remember he came up with evolutionism after a feverish delirium. I cant comment on the article in nature mag, other than a suspicion that the evolutionary element is assumed, by them and yourself...if the former posts here are anything to go by.
