I first saw a live performance of this show when I was seven and it broke my heart. Bet all you folkies would love The Hills Of Ixopo too, which is the opening number and uses the poetical words straight from Alan Paton's text. Magical. There is a lovely road that runs from Ixopo Into the hills These hills are grass-covered and rolling And they are lovely beyond any singing of it
