Genie, your link is terrific. How fun to see/hear all these interpretations! I do love Janie's : ) The way Rani Arbo does the introduction is almost exactly the way I sing it, and pretty damn close to Joe's, the first way I ever heard it from him. I love what they do with it from there. This morning I'm reading the long-ass thread about 'what's folk', and it occurs to me that here it is, right here. The process, the love, the pull, the reasoning, the get-out-and-sing-it-ing. Dani
