Survived the surgery. Still waiting for recovery. I am typing one handed, kinda. My left is there in spirit. It hurts to put my arm on the table but hurts to hang it by my side too. My little finger on that side was numb for most of the week but is now waking up. You know the pins and needles bit? Got it big time. Saw the surgeon today for a followup. He at least is excited about it. They had me in a splint from elbow to hand after the surgery, mostly to protect the incisions (elbow and wrist). Today I got a smaller one to protect the elbow. The splint is aa water activated cushion. He wets it, wrings it out, puts it in place, and holds it there. It warms up and hardens in about 30 seconds! More later.
