Bat Goddess Nov-Dec 2014 Declutter & Fitness (249* d) RE: Nov-Dec 2014 Declutter & Fitness 11 Nov 14

Never had a problem with SAD (if that's what it is) until this year. That was one of Tom's problems. I think it's more the run up to the "last of the firsts"...the first anniversary of Tom's death. Of course, the weather, the change of seasons, and the autumn time shift (how I wish they'd just keep the time the same year round!!!) certainly don't help.

Sunday was a bit of a weepy day. I scored a copy of Gail Sheehy's "Passages In Caregiving" at the library sale and started reading it. Wish I had read it back when I first heard about it...but then being Tom's caregiver got progressively more complicated and, quite honestly, I forgot about it. But even reading the intro, I evaluated it's still important for me to read it now. It pissed me off that Tom isn't here to share it with and I yelled at him and told him so. (I'd thought I'd skipped the anger at being abandoned part of the grieving process, but I guess not. Just twinges of it, though.)

Anyway, I got a lot of writing done. It was both a retrospective and an introspective day.

So, today I first have to gather the trash for pickup, then scare up something for breakfast, then head off to my first day at the new job. And after work get my hair cut.

Looks like a lovely day out. Should be a day!

Linn
