The new computer is now acquiring the old files, and programs. It is slow though - when starting out it sits spinning its wheel for far too long for my liking. Once it gets going it is just about OK - just about.

I have a Christmas tree in a pot, only a small one, and in about four weeks I'll be bringing it into the conservatory and brushing it off, then thinking about where to put it for the twelve days of Christmas.

I decorate the tree on Christmas eve and take it down the day after Twelfth night. It seems such a shame that the full Christmas period is not celebrated these days - but it gets pushed earlier and earlier each year.
