Richard - I agree. I knew them (sort of) back in the ,pool as the Huyton Quarrymen and they did a couple of gigs at a mates dad's pub. Noisy & definitely not folk. They just happened to be in the right place etc. There were far better musicians and groups in Liverpool around that time.
Still, if its just a case of putting bums on seats to pay for other musical genres. then ok, but not for me.
