The Oxford American Magazine has been publishing a special music issue for about ten years with an accompanying CD. For several years the magazine has focused the music issue on a particular state. This year the honor goes to Texas. I am a bit surprised that there has been no interest in this enterprise expressed on Mudcat. I received my copy last week and have enjoyed the CD as well as the articles on the written page. The magazine has had financial woes and is now located on the campus of the Univ. of Central Arkansas. I have enjoyed the art, the articles, and particularly the music issue since its inception. Even helped a little with the Arkansas music issue some years back. But what do I know. Oxford American Magazine Texas Music Issue
