Traditional Music Awards were set up by Simon Thoumire 12 years ago (he also set up Foot Stompin website, including a great forum -- sadly most of the site / shop etc have now closed down, and the forum is about to, tho I believe it will be reincarnated in a different format/under a different name0 check footstompin forum for - info before 18 December! Traditional Music and Song Association was set up by Pete Shepherd much longer ago, can't remember exactly how far back but probably at least 30 years? Check the website for info (which I ought to have done before posting!)
