Hah! My brother complained about his neighbour's dogs. 24/7 barking. The neighbour ignored the polite request so my brother complained to the local council who sent a reply with a "one week diary" for him to complete. However, the council sent it to the neighbour by mistake and just to be totally crap, sent my brother a letter asking him to control his dogs. Needless to say they don't have the expense of sending each other Xmas cards these days.
