Of course, if football is just entertainment, which it is, then in the same way sone people watch motor racing for the crashes, many people get an adrenelin Rush at seeing commotion on the field, red cards and boys pretending their childhood hero Vinny Jones had the right attitude. Graham Souness got into trouble for saying basically that as a commentator once.
