Too subtle for me. I can't see anything unusual. I don't know where the ABC came from, though, so I haven't looked there. Maybe it's a Windows/Linux thing - this is Linux and I was using Android.

I hope that my contributions to this thread have been helpful to you in building your page. I wanted to tell you what works for me and what doesn't - and courier doesn't, at least not always.

The ABC in your post of 05:40 isn't monospace on my Android or iPad. Maybe if you changed 'mono' to 'monospace' it might be. But why not just forget courier and use 'monospace', then it should be in the same style - sans or serif - as everything else?
