I try, God knows, but maybe there's only so much space for new music in the brain? I managed a couple of amazing new albums last year - Matt Berry, Metronony (complete with healthy back catalogue) and FKA Twiggs - all of which we bought on vinyl too... Otherwise, recent purchases are all old stuff : Soft Machine, John Coltrane, Cluster, Michael Hurley, Harmonia, John Jenkins, William Lawes, John Dowland, Fela Kuti, and after a lovely day in Liverpool the other day I bought The White Album by way of a souvenir - not forgetting picking up an old copy of Fish Rising on Saturday in Lancaster which just happened to be the 40th anniversary of its release... Happily though Popular Culture races on apace.
