I recently picked up an album from 1971, The Wheat Lies Low by Larry Croce. There are some lovely songs on there and I really like his voice. Looking on Google, it appears he went on to have a career doing childrens' albums for Disney, but this one is definitely for the grown ups. Do any of you more senior US folkies (of the cool with songwriters persuasion) remember this era of his career or have memories to share?
