I carry all my excess weight as a large 'bay window' waistline. I think it is a judgement up on me for the vanity of my youth, when I had a tiny waist and flat belly and was very pleased about it. I have been doing more walking in preparation for the folk festival at the end of the month - I must replace the inner tubes in my bicycle tires as neither will stay up and it is so handy for getting around Sidmouth. This is a busy month - I have done the dentist, so now there is the optician, a visit to the hospital for a mammogram, the servicing of the knitting machines for the University, the bowel cancer screening test, a visit to a more distant hospital to have my CPAP machine checked and half a dozen other things I am now worrying where the information about them has got to. I'd better go and gather them up and make a list.
